How monitoring and availability work
Checks cover specific service journeys. A working page does not confirm every assessment, saved answer or device experience. “Not monitored” means a journey has not passed monitoring acceptance. “Monitoring unavailable” means observations are missing or too old to describe current health.
Observed availability is the share of recorded checks that passed, excluding confirmation checks. It does not describe unobserved time or confirm current health. Gray days have no confirmed health observation; missing history is never counted as healthy.
